Attached are the academic salary scales which take effect November 1, 1997, and reflect the range and parity adjustments as follow: I. Titles Eligible for Range/Parity Adjustment A cumulative 5% (2% range adjustment, 3% parity adjustment) is applied to the salary of the following title series: * Professor series (including Professor in Residence, Professor of Clinical ______, Adjunct Professor, Clinical Professor series) * Agronomist series * Lecturer with Security of Employment and Senior Lecturer with Security of Employment series The 5% increase for academic year and fiscal year faculty salary scales is weighted to correct disproportionate percentage changes between steps (for example, Professor III is increased by 5.5%, Professor IV is increased by 4.8%.) II. Above-Scale Salaries Faculty with above-scale salaries shall receive the 5% range/parity adjustment. III. Off-Scale Salaries Academic appointees with off-scale salaries will receive the range and/or parity adjustment on the base salary only. IV. All other academic titles, including those covered by collective bargaining units, and student academic titles, are range adjusted by 2%.
