This page contains resources and information for department policy
writers, developers, and reviewers.
- Policy Writer's Checklist
Provides more detailed procedures for review and update of existing
policy sections, development of new policy sections, and procedures
for annual call update.
- Guide to Writing Policy
Provides best practices for developing and writing policy and information
regarding the formal review and approval process.
- Templates
These templates are for use when developing new policy sections or
for significant revisions of existing policy sections where tracking
changes is not practical. When you download the file, it will open
in your Web browser. For best results, save the file, then reopen
in MS Word (or other word processor). Each template uses pre-formatted
styles and includes instructions for use.

- Unit Policy Coordinators
Provides a list of of the unit policy coordinators in each Vice Chancellor/Vice
Provost office.
- Policies Due for Update
Provides a listing, organized by administrative unit and department, of all
policy sections currently due for update.
- Technical Updates
Information regarding the changes that can be requested as a technical
update and revision dates.
