PERSONNEL POLICIES FOR STAFF MEMBERS
RE: End of the A&PS Manual
The Universitywide policies for the Administrative and Professional Staff Program (A&PS) were replaced by Personnel Policies for Staff Members (PPSM) on July 1, 1996. Most UCD procedures in the A&PS Manual were superseded as replacement UCD procedures were published in the PPSM between 1996 and 1998. The remaining A&PS procedures were withdrawn effective December 31, 1998.
Manual holders were encouraged to retain their A&PS manuals as part of the status quo for certain collective bargaining units. Since collective bargaining agreements are now in effect for all of these units, the A&PS manual is no longer needed.
Please discard or recycle the entire A&PS binder and its contents.
