The UC Davis Delegation of Authority (DA) website contains official information about delegations of authority for the UC Davis campus.
The Administrative Policy Unit is the office of record for UC Davis DAs. All currently active delegations and redelegations are available on the Administrative Policy website.

When authority originates from a Presidential delegation, any local redelegation keeps the same Presidential delegation number. If the authority comes from another Presidential document (e.g., Business and Finance Bulletin, policy, letter), the redelegation is either incorporated into local policy or assigned a number with the prefix "UCD DA" followed by a 3-digit number issued by the Administrative Policy Unit.
All delegations of authority are made to positions, not individuals.
